Oregon Lands Another Top 2020 in Angela Dugalic
Head Coach Kelly Graves and the Oregon Ducks have done it again.

Just a week after landing Sydney Parrish, the No. 11 ranked player in the 2020 class according to ESPN, Angela Dugalic announced her commitment to play for Graves and the Ducks.
Dugalic, a 6 4 forward from Des Plaines, Illinois, is the No. 33 ranked player in the 2020 class. She attends Maine West High School and plays AAU for Chicago Hoops Express. Dugalic chose Oregon over the likes of California, UCLA, Marquette https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/customize-jersey-c-15.html, and Missouri.
Dugalic will bring a very important skill to Oregon and that’s her versatility. If you watched Oregon play this past year, you will have noticed how versatile their players are. In speaking with her AAU coach Tyler Dorsey Jersey, Jerald Davis, he believe this is Dugalic’s greatest strength on the court.

“She can play anywhere from the 2 5, and she can do a lot of things that really good point guards do,” he told High Post Hoops. “She’s a great passer too. With her height and ability to handle the ball, teams in high school couldn’t press them.”

Dugalic certainly agreed that her versatility was her strength, and is excited to bring that to Eugene. “I think my height and versatility fits in really well with their style of play,” she said. “I love their style of offense and the sets they run.”
Dugalic still has a full year and a half before she gets to the Oregon campus, so there is still plenty of time for her to work on her game. She identified ball handling and developing a more consistent jump shot, as areas in which she can work on.

Coach Davis agreed, while also highlighting her shooting as a strength already. “She doesn’t shoot a lot of threes, but she definitely can. Angela is a three level scorer already.”

The Ducks https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/jordan-bell-jersey-c-1.html, who were one of the first schools to start recruiting Dugalic, began doing so nearly 15 months ago. Since the first time they saw her, the Oregon staff attended a number of both Dugalic’s high school and AAU games.

“They were very committed to me,” she noted. According to Coach Davis, Oregon offered Dugalic before she was nationally ranked. They were one of the first to show their commitment to her https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/roman-sorkin-jersey-c-14.html, and now Dugalic has shown her commitment to them. She is number 4 in this video.
The Ducks are certainly getting a tremendously talented athlete, but they are also getting a terrific person. Coach Davis certainly could attest to that.

“Angela is humble and grateful,” Davis said. “When I post something about one of her teammates, she’s the first to repost it. She loves her teammates. She’s one of the nicest kids you’ll ever meet.”

Dugalic, who just led her Maine West team to an undefeated season and state championship, is certainly used to winning. When asked what her ceiling might be, Coach Davis, who has coached many high level players including Candace Parker of the L.A. Sparks, said, “I think she can be a pro. She has the tools to be a kid on that level.”

Dugalic will be trying out for the Serbian Senior Women’s National team this June.

For now, Dugalic is focused on improving her game and having fun. “I’m really looking forward to playing with my teammates. I love my teammates.”
